Overview

Pursuant to state statute, the State Board of Education is required to adopt a statewide assessment in English language arts (ELA), mathematics and science. The Board is also required to adopt a Menu of Assessments for high school. Beginning in the 2021-2022 school year, local education agencies may select an assessment from the Menu (SAT) to administer in addition to the statewide assessment (ACT) (A.R.S.15-741.02).
