Arizona Online Instruction Program
The Arizona Online Instruction (AOI) Program established in A.R.S. §15-808 allows approved school districts and charter schools to develop online instructional systems to expand learning opportunities for students throughout our state. The State Board of Education approves district AOI programs.
Charter schools should contact the State Board for Charter Schools at: https://asbcs.az.gov/
The application window for AOIs is opened for approximately three months in the summer. However, the Board will accept AOI applications on a case by case basis until the summer if the district provides a rationale for why it missed the traditional application window and provides evidence that there is demand in the district for an AOI in the upcoming school year.
