Reporting Immoral or Unprofessional Conduct of Educators

The Investigative Unit receives complaints against certified educators.  As of July 1, 2016, the Investigative Unit is located at the Arizona Department of Education.  Investigations are opened for allegations that would constitute unprofessional and immoral conduct.  If a formal complaint – prepared by the Office of the Attorney General – is filed, the certificate holder is accorded due process as provided by law.  Any sanctions imposed by the Board become part of the certificate holder’s permanent record and are forwarded to a national database.

The Investigative Unit may be reached at (602) 542-2972 or via the website.

If you wish to submit a complaint against a teacher, please visit the Department of Education Investigative Unit's webpage: http://www.azed.gov/adeinfo/investigative-unit-complaints/
